We interrupt the fruit-flow to highlight my very favorite flower. You're growing, sweet baby. When the sky is grey, hope just hides away, I'll be your sunflower. I'll shine for you. You know I'd do anything for you.
This is week 35 (!!), your nervous system is becoming more complex, allowing for improved coordination, you're still practicing your breathing, your live is producing vital enzymes for digestion, and your muscles and fat layers and continuing to develop. You're running out of room in my belly and your tush likes to nestle on my right side. It never fails to make me smile. This week, your dad and I are sick. You and I are doing our best to get enough nutrients while existing pretty firmly on the struggle bus. Luckily, we've been doing better! On Wednesday, we got back to our long walks and your dad grilled for the first time this season and, Thursday, our doula Megan came over for dinner! After dinner with Megan, we felt even better and more excited about you being on the way. This weekend, we had a fun Boston adventure, sanitized all of your bottles and pacifiers, and baby things. It's all happening--we can't believe our luck and we can't wait to meet you, sweet boy.
